No semifinal for Flavio Cobolli in Munich.
The 20-year-old Roman, who started from the qualifiers, surrendered just one step away from the penultimate act of the German ATP 250, defeated by Australian Christopher O’Connell, number 82 ATP, after nearly two and a half hours 7-6 (5) 4-6 6-3.
Thanks to this result, however, the class of 2022 has gained 27 positions in the real time projections of the ATP ranking, moving from No. 208 to No. 181 (his best result is No. 133 obtained last July).
