Juventus, the “Dusan Vlahovic case” is of growing concern
Allegri continues to give him a lot of confidence
Even against Sporting Lisbon he was left out but, more seriously, his performance was frankly disappointing. Vlahovic’s black moment continues and, by now, there is talk of a real “Vlahovic case.”
The numbers do not lie. The Serbian striker has not scored on action for more than two months (Feb. 16, at home against Nantes). His last goal (on a penalty kick) is dated March 16 (against Freiburg). He has not scored in almost 500′ and, more importantly, he cannot be as incisive as he could and would like to be. His season’s haul speaks of 11 goals in 33 games overall compared to 29 last season (between Fiorentina and Juventus).
Allegri continues to give him confidence, often preferring him to Milik and Kean but the Serbian is not showing encouraging signs. Sunday, at the Allianz Stadium, Napoli arrives. It could be a chance to get unstuck, assuming he is given another chance.
