Genoa getting closer to Frosinone, Parma strike and Palermo mockery
The standings shorten, both in the direct promotion zone and in the zone leading to the playoffs.
Genoa wins again, Frosinone does not, and now the top spot is separated by only two points from the Grifone second in Serie B after the win over Südtirol. Parma also wins over Cagliari, while on all the other pitches of the cadetteria Saturday (as at the Stirpe) come only draws.
Genoa’s three points come on the field of Cittadella, where Gudmundsson scored the 1-0 Rossoblù (granata in 10 from the end of the first half due to Giraudo’s expulsion. Instead, the high ranking challenge between Frosinone and Südtirol ends 0-0, as do those between Modena and Spal and Perugia-Cosenza.
Parma beats Cagliari 2-1 in a crucial challenge in the playoff zone: the comeback signed by Vazquez on a penalty kick and Man, after Lapadula’s lead, is worth fifth place alone with the islanders now sixth. It ends 1-1 between Como and Ascoli (Dionisi scoring from the penalty spot, Cerri answered him in the dying minutes after missing an earlier penalty). Same result between Palermo and Benevento, with a final mockery, however, for the Rosanero: after the back-and-forth between Sala and Farias in the first half, on 95 minutes Broh would score the winning goal cancelled out, however, by the Var for a hand foul.
