Juventus, working to get Kalidou Koulibaly on loan

Few appearances and a marginal role at the Blues

Koulibaly’s first season at Chelsea has certainly not been great. To date, the former Napoli defender has not convinced. Only 21 appearances (with two goals) in the year and a rather marginal role.

It cannot be ruled out that, in the summer, Koulibaly will look around for new accommodation. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus is reportedly thinking about it. The captain of the Senegalese national team is an old favorite of Allegri, who would gladly welcome him to Turin, the Bianconeri side. There have reportedly already been contacts and Juventus’ idea would be to have Koulibaly on a loan deal, exactly as Inter did with the Lukaku bis deal.

Koulibaly, last summer, had decided to leave Serie A in order not to wear the jersey of another Italian club. Twelve months later, will he change his mind and link up with Juventus?
