Sofia Goggia open-hearted: ‘A thousand difficulties’

Sofia Goggia candid about the difficulties she had: “They made me grow both as a skier and as a woman”

Reached by the microphones of OA Sport, Sofia Goggia summed up her last season: “It was a year with many ups and downs due to physical condition and some external factors. In my case, in December, I injured my hand, which although in the immediate moment did not prevent me from reaching the podium, in the following weeks it affected my training a lot,” said the four-time World Downhill Champion.

“The last few seasons have been very important for me, because they allowed me to grow both as a skier and as a woman, going through a thousand difficulties. Thanks to these years I was able to increase my confidence and awareness,” Sofia Goggia added.
