NBA playoffs: mission accomplished for Phoenix and Denver

Atlanta wins Game 5 with Boston, moves on to sixth act

Phoenix and Denver advance in the NBA playoff bracket. Phoenix took home Game 5 against the LA Clippers (136-130 the final), ending the series at 4-1. Super effort by Booker who dragged the Suns to victory with an impressive 47 points on the scoreboard. It should be mentioned that the LA Clippers were still without Leonard and George.

All as expected also for Denver, which, at home, got the better of Minnesota (112-109, 35 points by a wild Murray). Series ended at 4-1 for the Nuggets. On the other hand, Atlanta does not give up, managing to prevail in game 5 over Boston (119-117), forcing the series to game 6 (3-2 for the Celtics). The absolute star of the game was Young, who finished with 38 points and also 13 assists.
