F1, Helmut Marko’s dig at the competition
F1, Helmut Marko unbalances on the fight for the championship
On his 80th birthday, Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko spoke at the microphones of the “Osterreich” newspaper about the Baku weekend. In addition, the former Austrian driver spoke bluntly about this season’s championship fight.
“Mercedes is twisting their design, while all the other teams are trying to make adjustments to improve. We, on the other hand, are limited in aerodynamic development. I think the other drivers may win one or two races, but that will not affect the fight for the championship,” said the Red Bull consultant.
On the new format that will characterize the Baku weekend, Marko went against the grain of Max Verstappen’s thinking, pointing out that this novelty will provide more entertainment for the public.
