Both clubs were fined 50,000 euros, however. There were also several sanctions against the players involved in the end-of-match chaos.
Four of them were in fact disqualified: Yabusele for five days, Punter for two, Deck and Lessort for one. It should be mentioned that Dante Exum, who was landed on his back and punched by Yabusele, suffered a ruptured tendon in a toe, an injured vertebra, and a broken tooth. He is reported to be off the court for 40 to 60 days, effectively ending his Euroleague experience for this season.
It should be remembered that the suspension stemmed from the fact that several players entered the court during the fateful brawl. By Euroleague regulations, this generated expulsion to their detriment. This had meant that the rosters of Real Madrid and Partizan were below the minimum number of players essential to continue the match.
