Madrid: Martina Trevisan rules Eugenie Bouchard and goes to the third round
Martina Trevisan advances to the third round of the Madrid Masters 1000 tournament: Italy’s number one tennis player overcame Canada’s Eugenie Bouchard in two sets with scores of 6-2, 7-5.
Trevisan managed to take advantage of the former world number 5’s weaknesses on serve and close out the match in one hour and 47 minutes. She will face the winner of the match between Alycia Parks and Viktoria Azarenka in the third round.
