Valentino Rossi: Uccio reveals a backstory on Dani Pedrosa

VR46 team manager Alessio Salucci at Sky’s microphones congratulated KTM wild card Daniel Pedrosa for his lead after the first free practice of the MotoGp Grand Prix in Jerez: “I’m very happy for him, Dani is a real rider.”

“He is someone who sometimes didn’t let us sleep at night,” Uccio explained. “When he was going strong he was really strong, especially on some tracks like this one and at Misano. I hope to meet him to congratulate him in person, for what he did this morning and what he is doing in KTM.”

Valentino Rossi is expected in Jerez de La Frontera in the evening, but in the meantime, his brother Luca Marini is working hard: “In my opinion he is a very strong rider, he takes a while to go strong, but when he gets there he stays there because he knows how he got there. He immediately found a good feeling with this bike from the beginning of the year, especially in the gas connection.”
