Max Verstappen spoke after the Baku sprint race about the duel with George Russell, which he said went beyond permissible limits.
“I finished the race with a ‘chasm’ in the side, and I think that says enough. I gave him enough space. It’s okay to fight, even hard, however, you have to use some common sense, you don’t have to go at each other, that’s why I was a little angry with him. I wondered why he took so many risks, because I knew he didn’t have the pace to fight with us.”
On Leclerc: “Charles will not be easily beatable tomorrow, but we have a good chance to overtake him.”
