Toto Wolff comments on rumors about Charles Leclerc
While waiting to see if and especially under what conditions Lewis Hamilton will find a deal to stay in Mercedes, Toto Wolff tried to shut down once and for all the rumors regarding a possible landing of Charles Leclerc at the Brackley-based stable.
Speaking to ‘Sky Sport Deutschland’ on the sidelines of the Azerbaijan F1 Grand Prix weekend, the Austrian executive sentenced, “I have never spoken to Charles, I don’t know who is spreading these rumors. Or rather, we talked once at the airport, but it was to decide where to have coffee. No negotiations, zero talks.”
