Milan, Stefano Pioli: “We are not happy.”

AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli spoke to Milan Tv after the draw obtained in Rome: “We expected such a game, but we hoped with less interruptions: we played little and it becomes difficult to find rhythm and space. We lacked the final solutions compared to what we tried.”

“The goal in the final is worth a lot but in the locker room there was no happiness. It was a game we could win and we will try to improve in the next match. Clearly, it was important to come back at the last and at the end of the day we hope the point will be heavy. Now let’s think about the next competition.”

“In the final minutes we lost lucidity and missed situations where all we had to do was dump the ball off or go the other way. The difficulties were there also because of Roma. We don’t need momentum, we know that the season will be decided in these 20 days between now and the game with Samp. We have five league games and the Champions League semifinal. Our season can be glorious and fantastic or a little less positive, it will depend on us.”
