Another incident, again with medical consequences.
Miguel Oliveira was involved in a new accident in MotoGP, following the one caused by Marc Marquez in Portimao. The Portuguese also ended up ruinously on the ground in Jerez, this time due to contact with Fabio Quartararo. And his team has since produced an update on his physical condition.
“Miguel suffered a dislocation of the humerus in his left shoulder, which has been repaired at the Medical Center. Initial checks showed no fracture, but Oliveira will undergo further tests at the hospital,” reads a note signed by Aprilia. Quartararo, following the incident, was sanctioned with a Long Lap.
