Valentino Rossi, unexpected words about Pecco Bagnaia
Valentino Rossi surprises on Pecco Bagnaia
Valentino Rossi was present in the Ducati box where they celebrated Pecco Bagnaia’s victory in the Spanish Grand Prix, in Jerez.
The Doctor commented on the triumph of the Piedmontese rider to the microphones of Sky Sports: “My advice? I talked to him often but he didn’t always win. More than anything else it was thanks to him, however I told him that it’s better this way, it’s better that he suffers in practice, pass from Q1, start further back, he has to suffer, and then give his best in the race. If, on the other hand, he starts right away from Friday that he is going faster than everyone, there he is more dangerous and he can make the mistake. It was a beautiful race because it was hard. The drop one poisition on Miller lost him a lot of time, so I wasn’t sure he would win. But he was the better one because he was able to go fast but also save the tires and so the last laps he had more. But Binder you have to pass him, so he was good and then Pecco comes off really strong and on the last lap Binder couldn’t even try. Great win.”
