Lewis Hamilton ignores Ferrari: “I think about Mercedes in the long run”
If there is talk of possible revolutions on the future of the great champion, the person concerned currently denies it.
Lewis Hamilton at Ferrari is one of the suggestions that have characterized the last few weeks of Formula 1. It took the seven-time world champion personally to comment on them, reiterating that he has only Mercedes on his mind at the moment.
“I do not want to stay here in Mercedes for only one more year. My thoughts are long-term,” Hamilton admitted to the microphones of ‘Sky Sports UK’. Not only that, compliments to the team came from the Anglo-Caribbean. “I am proud of everyone working in the team and in the factory. Everyone is focused on the improvements we will bring and the goal of getting back to the top,” he indeed said.
And indeed Hamilton is now thinking only about the upcoming Miami Grand Prix and his Mercedes’ ambitions. “I don’t know what to expect, although it should be better. The car,” he added, “is already better than it was last year, so I hope we will be in front in Miami. Maybe not with the Red Bulls, but with the Aston Martins.” Towards Ferrari, therefore, no reference.
