Serie A: three clubs fined and eight disqualified

The Giudice Sportivo issued disciplinary measures after Wednesday’s 33rd Serie A matchday: already eight players have been disqualified including Roma’s Celik who will have to miss the big match with Inter. Fines for Lazio, Roma and Fiorentina.

a) COMPANIES.

Fine of € 10,000.00: to Soc. LAZIO for having its supporters, at the 2nd of the first half, intoned a boorish chorus of territorial denigration towards other supporters; for having also, during the match, thrown some small bottles of water into the playing area; penalty mitigated pursuant to art. 29, paragraph 1 letter b) CGS.

Fine of € 5,000.00: to the club ROMA for having its supporters, in the course of the match, throwing a firecracker and a smoke bomb into the playing area that forced the referee to interrupt the match for about a minute; attenuated penalty ex art. 29, paragraph 1 lett. b) CGS.

Fine of € 3,000.00: to Soc. FIORENTINA for having its supporters, during the first half, throw two smoke bombs into the playing area; penalty mitigated ex art. 29, paragraph 1 lett. b) CGS.
