Cremonese still believes: Spezia beaten in direct clash
Cremonese-Spezia 2-0
Cremonese beats Spezia 2-0 in one of two direct clashes in the salvation zone in the 34th round of Serie A (the other is Lecce-Hellas Verona, scheduled for Sunday evening), keeping the flame of hope burning.
Deciding the challenge at the ‘Zini’, in which Spezia did not demerit but did not even manage to take advantage of chances to score, were the goals of Daniel Ciofani in the 41st minute (the striker did well to take advantage of a favorable rebound and beat Dragowski) and Johan Vasquez in the 77th minute (a winning header from the development of a spot kick).
Thanks to the 3 points, Davide Ballardini’s team rises to 24 in the standings, bringing them to -3 right from Spezia (as well as Hellas Verona): the salvation race is still wide open.
