Jannik Sinner, target Internationals: set first training in Rome
Work toward Rome begins again, after the boredom in Barcelona and the absence in Madrid.
Jannik Sinner will begin training again on Sunday, in a schedule that points straight to the Internazionali d’Italia, in which the South Tyrolean intends to participate after his recent Iberian woes. In Barcelona he had in fact withdrawn due to precarious physical conditions, allowing compatriot Lorenzo Musetti to advance in the tournament, while the Madrid Open was directly skipped.
Now instead Sinner is ready to get back to work, which will take place directly at the Foro Italico in Rome. Here, in fact, the Italian will train between 12 and 2 p.m. Sunday, in the company of Francesco Passaro and “super-coach” Darren Cahill. The goal is to arrive in the best possible condition in time for Wednesday, the day when the main draw of the Internazionali d’Italia will start.
