Monza, Matteo Pessina: “Won the challenge, I can stay for life.”

Monza midfielder Matteo Pessina in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport spoke about the Brianzoli’s excellent first season in Serie A: “The project is robust, it will last. The strength of Berlusconi and Galliani’s ideas comes before economic strength. Monza in A, but also a youth sector with the appropriate facilities to become a reference.”

Pessina is also clear about his future: “When I arrived the bond between me, the city and Monza was the first aspect. And then I was intrigued by the project of Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani, two certainties. I accepted the challenge: salvation is the goal you reach when you do things well. And everything has been done well here: from the sports center to the stadium, from the team to everyday life. Here I feel at home, I could even stay in Monza for life.”
