More disappointment for the Monegasque in Miami.

After some good signs of redemption in Baku, Leclerc again had to live with poor results in Miami. Ungovernable his single-seater and, in the end, a disappointing seventh place in the race that speaks volumes about Ferrari’s lack of competitiveness.

The Monegasque, to date, has won only 34 rainbow points and is seventh in the drivers’ standings, at a sidereal distance from Verstappen (119). “We have so much work to do, we have a car that in ideal conditions gives good answers, but as soon as you get out of those conditions it becomes difficult,” his clear words to Sky Sports in the post-race.

Leclerc also admits the clear superiority of the Red Bulls: “In qualifying we battle, then in the race you have to accept to let them pass you, it’s a difficult mentality to accept. We don’t give up though, hopefully the updates will help us. Imola? It’s definitely more difficult to overtake and a good qualifying can help us.” A quick turnaround is needed.
