Lecce, Federico Baschirotto sounds the charge ahead of season finale

After Lecce president Saverio Sticchi Damiani’s appeal, Federico Baschirotto also wanted to send a clear message to his teammates during the press conference ahead of the match with Lazio.

“There is disappointment from everyone because we wanted to do well. We still have four points ahead of the relegation zone and we still have to meet Spezia. We must not give up and it will take the whole group to achieve the goal. The pressure we are having is part of the game, but we have to try to play with more grit and enthusiasm,” began the rocky Giallorossi defender.

“Against Lazio we will need the support of our fans who have always supported us despite the negative moments. It will be a very challenging match in which we will try to test ourselves against players of great quality,” added Federico Baschirotto.
