Important renewal for Virtus Bologna

Virtus Bologna has announced an important renewal. Alessandro Pajola, in fact, will wear the bianconeri jersey until 2026.

“Virtus Segafredo Bologna S.p.A. is pleased to announce the contract extension of Alessandro Pajola until 2026,” reads the statement issued by the Bologna club.

“”Pajo,” who grew up in Virtus’ youth ranks since 2015, has collected with the bianconera jersey a promotion and an A2 Italian Cup, a Basketball Champions League, a Scudetto, two Italian Super Cups and the EuroCup victory last season. Individually, he was named best under-22 in the A Series in the 20/21 season and MVP of the Italian Supercup in the 21/22 season. In his eighth season in Virtus Segafredo, a staple of the Italian national team, Alessandro is 11th in the number of appearances in the history of the Black V’s and fourth in assists in Serie A in the history of Virtus.”
