MotoGp, Fabio Quartararo responds in kind to Jorge Lorenzo
Fabio Quartararo’s words at the press conference ahead of the French GP
During the press conference presenting the Le Mans GP, Yamaha rider Fabio Quartararo, among other topics, wanted to send a response to Jorge Lorenzo’s statements regarding the moment the Japanese team is experiencing. “Jorge Lorenzo said that development is behind because he is no longer there. He is a legend of the sport, but I don’t think even he would be able to change things. Crutchlow is also very motivated and is doing a very good job. Step by step we are improving.”
“Jerez is now the past, although the tests we did on Monday gave positive answers. We are in a difficult situation in which we never found ourselves. I want to go back to basics and get back to riding the way I want: it won’t be easy, but I will try to give my best to get back on top,” added the transalpine centaur.
“The others are growing and we are losing some strengths, such as cornering stability. We have increased power a little bit, but we have lost in other areas and we have to try to regain balance,” Quartararo concluded.
