Rome, Jannik Sinner is confident about the field factor: “The public is a card to play when you play at home.”

On the sidelines of the presentation of the partnership between Fitp and Pigna, Jannik Sinner spoke about his feelings ahead of the home tournament and possible favorites for the final victory. “I don’t like to make comparisons with other players because there is so much work to be done. My goal is to win as many matches as possible. Obviously the pressure is there, but people love me and will give me support in difficult times.”

“The crowd in Rome will be an important card to use when we play. We Italians will have to be smart to use this advantage we have, because it could put our opponents in trouble,” added the South Tyrolean tennis player.

Finally, Jannik Sinner had this to say about rivals Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz: “Nole has a unique experience. The other day in practice I saw him in great shape and I think that if he passes the first rounds he will be one of the biggest candidates for victory. Carlos, on the other hand, comes here galvanized by his recent successes, so let’s see what he will do.”
