PSG, with its clear 5-0 thrashing of Ajaccio, is in fact one step closer to winning the French league title. A perfect night? Not completely. Applause for everyone but not for Messi, overwhelmed by booing from his now former fans.
Back on the pitch, the Argentine was booed sonorously with every touch of the ball. By now, the relationship between the Pulce and the PSG people has completely soured. There is no way to mend the rift. At the end of the season, Messi will leave Paris. It only remains to be seen whether he will prefer the monster salary he was offered to join CR7 in Saudi Arabia or whether he will be able to fulfill his great desire to return to play with Barcelona.
