Inter-Milan 1-0

No comeback for AC Milan in the return Euroderby, won 1-0 by Inter Milan, which is thus the first Champions League finalist.

After the 2-0 defeat in the first leg, the Rossoneri, with Leao on the pitch, tried to overturn the result but had only a couple of goal chances in the first half, with Brahim Diaz and the Portuguese himself, who grazed the post with his left.

In the second half, the Nerazzurri lowered the tempo further, managing the result well until Lautaro Martinez’s goal, which sealed the score by mocking Maignan at the first post from a few steps on an assist from Romelu Lukaku, who took over for Edin Dzeko.

Inzaghi’s men will just have to wait until Wednesday night to find out who they will face in Istanbul between Manchester City and Real Madrid.

Milan, on their fourth derby in a row lost without scoring between the Super Cup, league and Champions League, will now have to focus on finishing the Serie A season among the top four.
