Rome, Lorenzo Musetti aims to dispel Tsitsipas taboo
Rome Internationals, Lorenzo Musetti is already thinking about Tsitsipas
After beating Frances Tiafoe, Lorenzo Musetti spoke to the microphones of “Sky Sport” about his performance and his next opponent namely Stefanos Tsitsipas, with whom he will face tonight for a place in the quarterfinals.
“Both of us didn’t play great tennis yesterday. I lost that break lead at the end and got destabilized for a moment. Then I was good at fighting back. Today, however, I was able to express a good level and I’m glad I won. I have to thank the warmth of the crowd, which gave me a big hand to bring this match home,” said the 2002-class player about the two-phase encounter with Tiafoe.
“I hope that against Tsitsipas this will be the right time. Unfortunately, I have never been able to beat him and I will try to do it tonight. To get my first win against him in Rome would be a dream. I earned this battle with Stefanos and now may the best man win,” added Musetti on his Greek rival.
