“I never had any doubts and I am very happy to have signed this renewal that I really care about.” These are the words of Spezia striker M’Bala Nzola after renewing his contract with the Ligurians until 2026. The previous one expired in 2024 and was signed in 2020 upon promotion to Serie A.

“The ownership, the management and the whole club have made me feel important and I have never felt a lack of trust in me, the same that every day the fans make me feel with their warmth. Now all united to fight until the end,” concluded Nzola, who has scored 13 goals in 28 league games. Spezia will be looking for crucial points for salvation on Sunday in Lecce.
