Claudio Coldebella charged for new adventure
The era of Claudio Coldebella as the new general manager of Pallacanestro Reggiana has officially begun. The executive was introduced during a press conference. Along with him was President Veronica Bartoli, who introduced the club’s new figurehead as follows, “I want to begin with a thought of closeness and solidarity to the population affected by the numerous floods in our region in recent hours. Let me also dedicate my initial thought to Alessandro Dalla Salda: I want to thank him for the work he has done, he has been a pillar in the history of Pallacanestro Reggiana, and I wish him the best of luck in his new adventure in Naples.
I think Claudio Coldebella needs no introduction: his resume as a player, coach and manager speaks for itself. We liked him for his outward-looking vision, his open and innovative mindset, and his focus on the world of youth. The moment we decided to change paths, my partners and I had no doubts: he was our first choice. After a brief courtship, he accepted our proposal and now all that remains is for me to wish him well in his work.”
“Like all first days of school, I am very excited and happy to have arrived at an important club in the Italian and international scene like Pallacanestro Reggiana,” said Coldebella. “From the moment I met the ownership, I had no doubts and I immediately perceived the desire to start a new project. What I have always done, first with the shorts and later with the jacket, is to try to achieve results with the sharing and contribution of everyone.
I join in thanking Alessandro Dalla Salda, I have always seen Reggio Emilia from the outside as an extremely organized company. The baton I take is an important one. Coming to see games at PalaBigi for me has always been a pleasure outing, in a historic arena that I have now found renovated and refreshed, but always packed with a passionate and numerous public. This is a testament to the desire and hunger for basketball in this environment and to the fact that this club represents a pride for the city. I have met my colleagues, competent and knowledgeable people, and I can’t wait to start working with them.”
