F1, Frederic Vasseur looks ahead to Monaco GP with confidence
Frederic Vasseur optimistic ahead of Monaco GP
With the Monaco weekend just days away, Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur sounded optimistic during a speech made to the Scuderia’s official channels. “It’s back to racing, this time at Charles’ home in Monte Carlo. It will be a special date for him, as well as for all of us. Together with the drivers, we have prepared this weekend down to the last detail to be able to take advantage of whatever opportunities come our way. Both Leclerc and Sainz love the track. Charles has taken pole the last two seasons, while Carlos has always finished on the podium since he has been driving Ferrari. We will try to give our best to get a good result,” these are the words of the former Alfa Romeo.
Also speaking on his home circuit was Charles Leclerc: “This track gives you so much adrenaline. It’s tight and to go fast you have to trust your feelings as well. I don’t think any track transmits similar sensations, and I know that’s the case for all drivers, and for me in particular, since it’s the track in the city where I grew up.”
