Derthona, Marco Ramondino no-nonsense: “We will have to take the field in our best possible version”

A few days before the start of the playoff semifinal series against Virtus Bologna, Tortona coach Marco Ramondino spoke to the microphones of “Tuttosport” about his team’s season and his feelings ahead of the game against the Felsinians.

“The choice of players was very important. Their spirit of sacrifice has been fundamental in obtaining these results. When you have a roster so full of quality it is difficult to find the square if there is no cooperation among the guys. It is imperative to have a staff that puts the team’s interests before their own,” said the HCL coach.

“Derthona and Virtus are two very different teams. I think it will be crucial for us to find a balance between our style of play and the adjustments we will make to limit theirs. When you face level opponents like Virtus and Olimpia, you have to try to go into the game playing your best version of basketball. We have to work on ourselves and be able to identify priority things. Bologna has individuals that force you to a certain kind of defense,” added Marco Ramondino about the Black Vu’s.
