Jordi Alba also bids farewell to Barcelona

Barcelona’s 34-year-old left-back Jordi Alba will leave the blaugrana at the end of this season, terminating his contract expiring in 2024 a year early. He is the third of the blaugrana “generation of phenomena” to leave Barça in the space of a few months after Gerard Piqué before the 2022 World Cup and Sergio Busquets a few weeks ago.

Jordi Alba with Barcelona has won in eleven years a Champions League (2015), six Spanish championships (2013, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2023) and five King’s Cups (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2021) and in 458 games with the blaugrana has scored 27 goals.
