MotoGp, Ducati: optimism grows for Pecco Bagnaia and Enea Bastianini
Pecco Bagnaia and Enea Bastianini review the track.
As the anticipation for the MotoGp Italian Grand Prix at Mugello (Sprint race on Saturday, June 10, race the following day) rises day by day, optimism grows at Ducati about the physical condition of the two factory team standard bearers, Pecco Bagnaia and Enea Bastianini.
In fact, both the world champion and the former Team Gresini rider have seen the track again at the very Scarperia and San Piero circuit, the former after the fractured talus he suffered in the accident with Maverick Viñales at Le Mans, the latter after the shoulder knock suffered during the first Sprint race of the season, in Portugal, which in fact has not yet allowed him to take part in a GP this season.
Since testing on the Desmosedici was not possible, both completed a few laps riding the Panigale, the bike with which Ducati competes in World Superbike. The goal, however, was to assess the physical condition of Bagnaia and Bastianini; the feelings of both are positive.
