Bayern Munich is German champion for the 11th consecutive year. The Bavarians were the protagonists of a real upset on the final day of the championship: Tuchel’s team overcame Borussia Dortmund at the photo finish thanks to a 2-1 victory at the Cologne ground and the simultaneous 2-2 draw of the yellow and red at home against Mainz.

Musiala’s 89th-minute goal was decisive for Bayern Munich to win yet another Bundesliga title, while Dortmund despaired of a title thrown to the wind against Mainz, which was coming off four defeats in four games in the past month.
