Good first in the Serie B promotion playoffs for Cagliari, which in the preliminary round at the Unipol Domus beat Venezia 2-1 and will now face Parma in the semifinals. Decisive for Ranieri’s Rossoblù was a double by Lapadula in the 14th and 18th minutes, Pierini needlessly shortened the gap in the 52nd minute for Vanoli’s Lagunari.
