The physical gap between the two teams was evident in Game 1
The Scudetto semifinal series did not start well for Dinamo Sassari, which, in game 1, was asphalted at the Forum by Olimpia Milano (95-72). In fact, the biancoblu never managed to get into the game.
“They played a very solid game. We should have tried to hold out a little more but I would say that Milan, today, played a very solid game,” Coach Bucchi’s post-game comment. There is a desire for redemption already in game 2, scheduled for Monday night also at the Forum: “They have a remarkable physique, we have to try a different approach. We have to try to limit the athletic and physical gap,” the Sassari coach’s conclusion.
