Roma, Paulo Dybala recovers and wants to write history
Paulo Dybala recovers for final match with Sevilla
Paulo Dybala has recovered for the Europa League final against Sevilla, scheduled for Wednesday night at 9 p.m. at the ‘Puskas Arena’ in Budapest.
The Argentine striker made some statements to German portal ‘Kicker’ ahead of the challenge with the Andalusians. “It would be something gigantic to write the history of this club,” he admitted, “Rome has always fascinated me. The anthem, the passion of the fans, all very beautiful but I am when I moved here I really understood that soccer is above everything.”
La Joya also returned to his introduction when he arrived at Roma: “At first I was a bit taken aback because I did not expect all those crowds. I had never experienced anything like that.”
In the world champion, the defeat in the Champions League final with Juventus in 2017 still stings: “The memory still hurts, the Champions League is a competition that you risk to win only once in your life. I won many trophies with Juventus, but I still regret that defeat.”
