Alexander Zverev after his victory over Jannik Sinner in the round of 16 of the Us Open barely held back his joy: "I don&#39t know how I did it. The truth is è  that in the fourth set I was totally destroyed, I felt so tired, while he was much more fit than I was, even though he knew he could have cramped at any other time".

"Without the energy of all these people who stayed to cheer until the end, it would have been impossible to make it. This è one of the best moments of my career since my return, so we will see what comes next".

Zverev now challenges Carlos Alcaraz: "I am here to play, this è what I love to do. I don&#39t know how this is going to turn out, I just know that I&#39ll give it my all as I always have, fighting on every ball until the last moment. Of course the first thing I have to do now è rest and recover physically from this match, but I hope to be ready for the next match".
