We arrive at Sant’Agata di Militello, whose origins are linked to a legend: it is said that a group of fishermen from Catania saved themselves from a shipwreck and, in gratitude to their patron saint, founded this town and dedicated its name to her.

We then head towards Capo d’Orlando: The "Capo" è a sheer cone of rock overlooking the coast, now enlivened by beaches of fine, white sand, now by rocks of bizarre conformations.

According to tradition, it was Emperor Charlemagne who named it "d’Orlando" in honor of his famous paladin. Continuing along the coast, we enter Gioiosa Marea and then reach Marina dei Patti and Falcone and end day two of our ride in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto in the wonderful Wonderland Park
