Francesca Piccinini is not è worried about Paola Egonu's absence in the pre-Olympic

Francesca Piccinini è is convinced that, despite excellent absences and exclusions (from Orro to Egonu to Chirichella, Di Gennaro and Bosetti), Italy will be able to detach the pass for Paris 2024 at the Pre-Olympic in Lodz.

"Our Italy remains a very strong team,‖ explained the former Azzurra during the launch of Aequilibrium & Me, of which è brand ambassador -and maintains many chances to win the ticket to Paris. That would be so important. It does not change how and when to qualify, it only matters to do it".

Piccinini wants to avoid her words being instrumentalized and, consequently, prefers not to expose herself too much on the Mazzanti-Egonu case, focusing on those present and not on those who will missà. "We have many promising young people, they will be able to amaze and do great things".

The pre-Olympics will be held in Lodz, Poland, Sept. 16-24, and the Azzurri will be engaged in Group C against South Korea (Sept. 16 at 8:45 p.m.),  Slovenia, Thailand, Colombia, Germany, Poland and the United States. The top two finishers in each Pool will gain qualification to the next Olympic Games in Paris 2024. These are the summoned by coach Davide Mazzanti.
