F1, Singapore: Charles Leclerc has no illusions
The two Ferraris dominated Friday’s free practice of the Singapore Grand Prix with Charles Leclerc ahead in the first and Carlos Sainz. Here are their statements.
"È it was a good day: the car seems a little more competitive than we expected, but we don't have too many illusions since I think our rivals have not yet shown their true potential," said Leclerc. “We will work to further refine the balance of the single-seater and I am confident that we can improve again tomorrow".
“A positive Friday,” added Sainz. “The car è seemed to be working in the right performance window from the very first lap of the first session, so in the second session we were able to focus on further refining the set-up. I expect the track tomorrow to improve further, with even more grip. We will see in those conditions how much we can improve and what our opponents".
