We depart from the Ducal Palace of Mondragone and along the ancient Appia Antica we head toward the Domitiana State Road to leave Campania and head straight for Scauri, a hamlet of Minturno.

We will then reach Lazio. From here we will head straight for Gaeta, a valiant maritime republic in the 9th century: on one side the sea, on the other Monte Orlando, dominating Gaeta è precisely the Montagna Spaccata whose formation is said to be linked to the death of Christ, when an earthquake split the rocky complex into three parts.

Next stop, Sperlonga: a medieval village as white as the famous Ostuni, Sperlonga shines like a star reflecting on the water.

The town è all a succession of narrow streets and underpasses and è beautiful to get lost in the alleys and suddenly discover a glimpse of the splendid sea. Here we are ready to reach another breathtaking destination: Terracina è a very ancient village, rising high above the sea, on the route of the Southern Via Francigena. It welcomes with its ancient and maritime atmosphere, its warm hospitality and its cuisine that makes you fall in love.

We finally reach San Felice Circeo and conclude our eighth day of running by foretasting a good fried fish accompanied by a glass of Circeo sitting in front of the sea.
