MotoGp India: Bagnaia falls, World Championship in the balance. Bezzecchi triumphs ahead of Martin
Marco Bezzecchi dominated the Grand Prix d'India, the 13th round of the MotoGp World Championship. The Ducati VR46 team centaur after an initial tussle with Pecco Bagnaia took the lead in the race and with an impressive pace pulled away from all rivals, finishing with almost an 8-second margin over the second in the standings.
The twist è came behind him: the World Championship leader Pecco Bagnaia, protagonist of a splendid fight for second place with Jorge Martin, è clamorously fell on lap 14 leaving the way clear for his Spanish rival, who è finished second and in the overall standings è now just 13 points behind the world champion Ducatista (Bezzecchi third at 44).
On the podium with them there'è a rediscovered Fabio Quartararo, fourth with his Yamaha, then Brad Binder, who sprinted ahead of the surprising Joan Mir (Honda). A good Franco Morbidelli è finished sixth ahead of Maverick Vinales's Aprilia, while Marc Marquez finished ninth. Honda on the rise: Nakagami è arrived in the points, finishing 11th. Aleix Espargaro forced to retire with a problem with his Aprilia.
