In an emotionally charged match at the Sardegna Arena, Milan beat Cagliari 3-1. The teams faced each other with offensive formations, with the Rossoneri opting for a 4-3-3 and the Rossoblù for a 3-4-2-1. Already in the fourth minute, Reijnders and Florenzi had chances to score, but their shots were blocked.
