Genoa-Empoli, the probable formations

Genoa and Empoli will open the 14th day of Serie A on Saturday. Kickoff at 3 p.m. at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris. Both teams will try to redeem the ko of the previous round, respectively with Frosinone and Sassuolo, to move away from the hot zone of the standings.

In attack, Alberto Gilardino will still have to do without Gudmundsson, but he will be able to rely again on Mateo Retegui, who will most likely take the field from 1' as center forward, with Messias acting as second forward. In defense, the trio composed of De Winter, Dragusin and Vasquez is confirmed.

Andreazzoli, on the other hand, should rely on the offensive trident composed of Caputo, Cambiaghi and Cancellieri. In the middle of the field there is room for Fazzini, Grassi and Maleh.
