Australian Open: the top seeds
The organizers of the Australian Open, the first Slam of the season starting Monday, Jan. 14, 2024, have announced the entry-list of participants, including the 32 seeded players, of the Australian Major. Five Italian tennis players are directly admitted to the main draw, including two seeded players: Jannik Sinner and Lorenzo Musetti.
The South Tyrolean tennis player will be the fourth seed in the seeding, for the first time among the top four seeds in a Grand Slam tournament. The Carrarino, on the other hand, will be No. 27. Close behind are Matteo Arnaldi, in 44th place, and Lorenzo Sonego, in 46th. Great anticipation for the return of Matteo Berrettini, returning from injury, and that of Rafael Nadal, who returns to competition after one year.
