Ingrid Tandrevold on target in the Hochfilzen women’s sprint that opened the three-day World Cup on the track in Hochfilzen, Austria. The Norwegian, in her first success of the season after four attempts, è was perfect at the shooting range, scoring a time of 2059″9, with which she preceded Sweden’s Elvira Oeberg (one mistake) by 4″9, third position to France’s Julie Braisaz/Bouchet at 19″7 with one mistake.
Surprisingly, fourth place è occupied by Swiss Lena Haecki-Gross at 20″with one mistake, while Lisa Vittozzi finished fifth at 24″4 with a race in control and no mistakes. Sixth place for Valentina Margaglio in the second skeleton World Cup stage hosted Friday, Dec. 8 in La Palgne, France. After placing ninth in the opening round in November in China, Margaglio showed substantial growth in form, posting the sixth fastest time in the first run (1’02”77) and then fourth (1’02”58) in the second run.
