Italy on the podium at the European Short Tub Swimming Championships underway in Otopeni, Romania. At the close of the day è it was the 4×50 sl mixed relay team that won the silver medal.
Alessandro Miressi, Lorenzo Zazzeri, Jasmine Nocentini and Silvia Di Pietro had to surrender only to Great Britain, gold in 1'27"75.
The blue quartet finished in 1'28''28 with an Italian record, which improves on the 1'29'22 of Luca Dotto, Marco Orsi, Erika Ferraioli and Di Pietro herself in the final at the 2014 World Championships in Doha.
The bronze è went to France in 1’28”35, just 7 hundredths behind the Azzurri, who are on their 13th medal in the continental event.
