Pecco Bagnaia reveals a backstory on the incident in Barcelona
Two weeks after winning his second consecutive title clinched with victory in the last round in Valencia, Ducati centaur Pecco Bagnaia, during a video interview with the official website of MotoGp, è returned to talk about his frightening accident during the Barcelona GP.
"The accident suffered in the Barcelona GP è was one of the hardest moments of my career. The day after the crash, I got up and was completely destroyed, I didn’t even have the strength to get out of bed. It wasnè t easy, but I pushed so much mentally and preferred not to share my state of health and how I was feeling with the press and people. Becauseé people cannoté understand everything and I did not want to have any kind of excuse" began the Ducati centaur.
"From Barcelona onward Martin è was very fast, the fastest at certain times. In the Sprint Race è he was always very strong, but we managed to be continuous and to be stronger over the Sundays in the long races" continued the two-time World Champion.
"Pressure è a privilege, without that feeling you can't have fun. It's the most beautiful thing you can feel and I have to thank Jorge for letting me savor it until the last moment. Now I don't want to think about next year, but when I start training again, it'll be nice to do it, because I believe I have some areas where I can still improve a lot. Next season everything will be more difficult, we will have Marquez on the Ducati, Martin who will want to take revenge, Bezzecchi, the KTMs, Morbidelli and Marini in their new teams. Winning never gets tired and I certainly will not get tired of wanting to get more wins and titles" concluded Pecco Bagnaia.
